Goodies

Was able to do one of my favorite things this weekend! You guessed it hobby lobby! Now this was just a simple trip to get some scrap book paper , to make sidney a family poster for her new class! Yes she started a new class room this week. (more to come on that later) But you know as my husband knows....I cant walk in there to get one thing....I needs to browse. Would I have loved to do it with out a whiny two year old, and penny pinching husband...YES!! But no such luck. Let me say that place is just good......they had me wanting to spend four hundred and forty seven dollars before I even entered the store! This was in the section where you enter...before you enter! They had the most beautiful xmas tree! It spoke to me....it was nine feet tall....and it was skinny but still full.. Since Chris and I have been married we have been through a lot of trees. Our house in its measly 1900 sq feet was just not meant for a big tree...which is what we both love. Our current tree is pretty big and full and beautiful...but the top of it, where the tree top er is..broke. So I mentioned months ago I wanted a new one this year. I'm not a big fan of skinny trees...but it was just thick and full and had different types of greenery on it, pines cones. I was in LOVE! It would give us soooo much more room in our house....forgot to take a pic :( I will be back to visit it I'm sure. Hubby was not to happy. Now let me clarify...I love to shop, but I love to get good deals save money...so yes this price was a bit CRAZY!! But I'm hoping if I wait it out, I can get it on sale...and hunt for a 40% coupon. I did manage to walk out of there with two cute little pumpkins half off...love them! I figured fall is close enough so I will let them sit out.

The next pics.... is what I got on a shopping trip to hobby lobby couple of weeks ago(man I'm there a lot!!?) Now if you don't know like I know...because I have an addiction problem when it comes to buying xmas stuff. Hobby Lobby and most places DO NOT put xmas stuff on sale(the stuff you want that is) hardly ever...unless its after xmas. So you can imagine my shear excitement/joy/mild giddy attack when I saw a 40% off sign under all the ornaments!! I was so happy! My xmas theme for a couple of years has been candy land/ginger bread..kinda thing. Now when I get up to the cash register...the lady looks at my purchase and says: "you are so lucky!!" "Uh," I say. I'm never lucky.....please explain? The lady says to me..somebody put these on sale when they should not have been, The manager just walked up to her and told her only give 40% off for the next hour because someone missed marked them! SCORE, I was lucky! To bad that could not have happened this weekend with my tree!!!

My New Do...

So this is what I was up to this weekend...I got my hair cut...and not for 10.99!! ha! Ya I went to one of those fancy pants hair salon! Where you tip! (lol) First time I ever went to a place like this I always hated my hair cut! Probably because I would always tell the girl...just leave it to where I can put it in a pony tail! Well not this time! I walked in told her I want it short...no pony tail (or i will never hear the end of it), I want my hair to look fuller, but not to trendy (I'm not that cool) So I pretty much let her do what she wanted!! The pictures don't really do it justice...much cuter in person.....it might not look like a drastic change....but those of you who know me well....know that it is!!! Four inches....
Thanks to everyone who has given me sooo many compliments...I was on cloud nine Monday! Think the words younger, thinner came up! Hey I will do anything to look thinner! Now if I can just convince my husband to let me have laser surgery on my eyes, it will be all good...in our hood! Don't pay attention to my funny faces....I have a hard time with natural smile...I feel like I'm being fake...lol.....so I had to give a funny face!!All that money I pay for that mac make up, and it looks like I have none on!!

But boy... proactive works!!!! Hubby: think I want my teeth whitened, when you get me that laser surgery!!

Book Worm

I just love to read...that's pretty much where I've been lately....reading. Every since my sis in law got me hooked on TWILIGHT, I've pretty much been on a fantasy, fiction ,romance, action kick! I gave her such a hard time about reading books about vampires! I mean I'm not into sci-fi, dracula, buffy the vampire slayer! But when I heard BFF was reading it...and liked it...I knew I had to give it a shot! After all sis in law is twentyone..what does she know...LOL (just kidding) Anyway if you havent read it, and you just like a romance story...thats really all it is...forbidden love!
So i picked up this new book WINGS at sams.....sis in law had not read it...let her borrow and I think she read it in two days?? Took me about a week....I have a two and a half year old as I keep reminding her!!!! This is my new FAV book...and of course it is a series...this is book one out of four...the fourth one due out 4/10!!!! Pure torture! I still want to pick up both of tori spellings books, and chelse latelys book....I just dont want to pay the full price...I've tried half price book with no luck...I also dont have the patience to look through their stuff!
Did anyone see the season finale of tori and dean...I just love that reality show.....I think it's one of the best! Dean is so nice and sweet all the time (it must be fake!!)lol! side note to those who watch: On the last episode, their nanny was leaving going back to her family...was it just me...she never did a darn thing!! Tori works her butt off...the nanny was just always chillin!!? Sorry just makes me crack up every time I think about it!! I need her job!

The book below kissed by an angel is the new book I'm currently reading...it;s great as well!

So that's pretty much what I'm up to.....if you cared?! ha! Sidney is doing good she is on a lets be sweet to mommy week...so I'm loving it...I keep meaning to post some pics of lots of goodies I got at sam moon, hobby lobby, belk...going to do a little more shopping this weekend for sid some fall clothes, so I will post this weekend! Anyone read any good books!

I've been replaced

I'll start by saying this has not been a good week for me.....Their was my mom's birthday, issues at work that have me upset....questioning if I should even stay? Work is always a weekly drama...! I've just been going through a lot of things....I need some change? I really want to loose some weight...but I just don't want to work at it!! I need it to just come to me...like a favor! lol. We took a bunch of pictures of my daughter this weekend, all of them had me in them...and I erased ALL of them...sad they were cute of her! I need to get a hair cut...I've had the same style since middle school!! SERIOUS!! I just need some change...mainly with in myself. To the point of this post! So after another bad day at work........I go to pick up Sid....she is there with one of her favorite teachers....who she often talks about...they are attached...but every time I come to pick her up she is happy to see me and always shouts MOMMY! and jumps out of her teachers arms and into mine! How can that not make you feel special?!!
NOT today, I came in and she said NO MOMMY...I.. want.. stay.. with.. DEVON!!

Devon hands her over to me...sid has a toy in her hand and I ask her..."sid can you give that back to miss devon?" Sid: NO!!! So devon says: sidney can you hand that to me??....SHE HANDS IT RIGHT OVER!!! I mean she does not mind me on a normal day??!! So we both walk out of the class room and I think sid is right beside me......she turned back around went back into her class room, to hug/whine to stay with miss devon!!! IT JUST BROKE MY HEART!! Not to mention miss devon probably thinks i beat her!! This didn't even come close to compare with the CRAP week I've had at work! I guess it just goes to show you that your child is more important than anything...and how they can really hurt your feelings...(and I'm not sensitive!!) I don't think I'll get over this one!! :( ANYWAY...here is a picture of the little traitor, in a tutu that my friend Staci gave her. She loves it...played in it half the day. In the picture she is saying tutu! lol! You must read her blog...she makes beautiful tutus, hair clips...and has started a business in photography..she is very talented!
