Been missing for a little bit. Life has been a little busy, and I've been in a little bit of a funk! I'm slowly trying to de-funk myself for the Holidays!
Slowly trying to drag out all the decorations....got my new tree, so I have that put up. I usually just LOVE Christmas...it' s kinda hard to get in the mood these last two years...for reasons you all know.
Couple of weekends ago Chris, Sidney and I went to the gaylord to see the Grinch in ice, and just to go see all their pretty decorations and get inspired! I think I enjoyed the ice more that the other two...Sindey did love running around the hotel to see all the neat stuff. She got to meet Santa, and played peek a boo with the Grinch. If you don't want to pay to see the ice sculptures, just go to check out all the decorations!! (at night) they even have certain times where they have story time with Mrs. Claus with milk and cookies. Did I mention that it was a little cold...they have to keep the room with the ice sculptures at nine degrees.... The sculptures were truly amazing.... Truly worth taking a trip out there to see!!
Those are great pictures. I have wanted to go there for a while now. It looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you SO VERY MUCH for the advice and kind words the other day. It helps just knowing that my child is normal, and just hearing from other moms helps a ton! It's exhausting for sure! I never want people to think I'm ungrateful...it's hard to vent cause some will take it that way. We spent a full day away from home on Thanksgiving. It was tiring and yeah, you can't ever relax and just enjoy! I know we'll look back one day and think, it wasn't that bad. haha. Thank you again!!!!!
We just went to that this past Sunday. It was so awesome. Jose wasn't all that excited about going, but I think he had more fun that anyone. It was so cute seeing Olivia look around at everything. Did Sid do the ice slide? Sofia chickened out at the last minute when she found out Emily couldn't go with her.

ReplyDeletestaci-- coud not get sidney to go down the slide...they would not let her slide down with daddy. but chris went, like the child he is. Ya, chris pouted the whole way about the price and having to pay for parking...then it turned out we did not have to pay for parking. He thought it was a money making machine! But he enjoyed!
nicole- it is very comforting to know that people have they same frustrations! dont worry I will never think of you as ungrateful! being a mom is the hardest thing I have ever done, it takes a truly special mom to stay at home, so my hat off to you! ( and you too staci)
